THE KISS OF MIDNIGHT.

It seems like in just a blink of the eye, we said so-long to twenty eleven, and threw our arms wide open to greet twenty twelve. I would love to sit here and reflect back on the year and throw all my fabulous photos out there one more time, but really, who has the time for that? Not me. At least not today anyway. But I will give ya this. Hands down, here's the BEST thing that happened to us this past year.

Our little stud muffin. Cannot imagine our lives without him in it.

Lots of other good stuff happened to us too, and it's all here, tucked away in a safe place on this little blog. I'm gonna save the digging for another day.

We did give 2011 a proper send off, pulling out our party pants to see it to its end. We are so grateful that we always have a standing invitation to the Bahn's house on New Years Eve, so we never have to feel like losers with no where to go. And our kids are welcome too. Bonus. Sure, us moms got wild and crazy, and Jen and I even had a glass of wine a piece. Ha. But that's what happens when two of you are nursing babies and the other two are preggers. But I've found in my wise old age that connecting with other ladies and having adult conversation is just as rewarding as whooping it up was several years ago. So, without further ado, my final pictures of 2011...

Nugget and her bff, Avery.

Cheers to a new year and good friends...

Sad to say we didn't make it 'til midnight, but with two kids in tow we were happy to stay as late as we did. Nick and I watched the famous ball drop ceremony at home, followed by saying good night just mere minutes later. Man, are we lame or what? Oh well, if I have to be lame, at least I have my awesome man to be lame with me.

We're starting this new year off right with some big celebrations. I have a little blog surprise up my sleeve for later this week...stay tuned...followed by Nick turning 30 and Brother turning 1! We're off to a great start. Happy New Year to you and yours!

  5. Happy New Year! Love brother's fancy little shirt. My nephew had a similar onesie last year for the holidays when he was a little peanut. Great pictures of your and Nick, too!
