Our little stud muffin. Cannot imagine our lives without him in it.
Lots of other good stuff happened to us too, and it's all here, tucked away in a safe place on this little blog. I'm gonna save the digging for another day.
We did give 2011 a proper send off, pulling out our party pants to see it to its end. We are so grateful that we always have a standing invitation to the Bahn's house on New Years Eve, so we never have to feel like losers with no where to go. And our kids are welcome too. Bonus. Sure, us moms got wild and crazy, and Jen and I even had a glass of wine a piece. Ha. But that's what happens when two of you are nursing babies and the other two are preggers. But I've found in my wise old age that connecting with other ladies and having adult conversation is just as rewarding as whooping it up was several years ago. So, without further ado, my final pictures of 2011...
Nugget and her bff, Avery.
Cheers to a new year and good friends...
Sad to say we didn't make it 'til midnight, but with two kids in tow we were happy to stay as late as we did. Nick and I watched the famous ball drop ceremony at home, followed by saying good night just mere minutes later. Man, are we lame or what? Oh well, if I have to be lame, at least I have my awesome man to be lame with me.
We're starting this new year off right with some big celebrations. I have a little blog surprise up my sleeve for later this week...stay tuned...followed by Nick turning 30 and Brother turning 1! We're off to a great start. Happy New Year to you and yours!
you two are such a cute couple! you beat us... we didn't even watch it drop. ha! the life of parents with littles. : )
